Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health needs, and support wellness programs while documenting outcomes and communicating changes to the charge nurse.

The role requires CMA/CNA certification or ability to obtain within 120 days, 18+ years old, and prior LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Ability to obtain and record vital signs and document care outcomes.
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow state regulations.
• Active CMA/CNA certification or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care tasks.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record care, medication administration, and vital signs accurately.
