Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will administer prescribed medications as delegated and document outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity and nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• CNA certification required; CMA/Trained Medication Assistant per state guidelines.
• Maintains yearly competency testing and continuing education credits as required by state.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medications, behavior, activity and dietary outcomes.
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, range of motion and appropriate exercises.
