Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Clinical Implementation Specialist to support the launch, implementation, and ongoing adoption of clinical laboratory testing programs across healthcare practices in the United States. Ideal candidates are RNs or LPNs who enjoy educating clinical teams, building relationships, solving workflow challenges, and traveling to customer locations.

Qualifications

  • Active RN or LPN license.
  • Minimum 2 yrs clinical healthcare experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to educate diverse clinical staff including physicians, nurses, MAs, and practice managers.
  • Strong organization and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and onboarding of new physician practices and healthcare organizations, coordinating implementation plans with Sales and Operations.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual implementation meetings and training for providers and clinical staff.
  • Educate clinical teams on laboratory testing programs, specimen collection, test ordering, and medical-necessity requirements.
  • Assist practices with integrating testing into existing workflows and provide hands-on support during initial patient testing.
  • Ensure practices have supplies, materials, and resources for a successful launch.
  • Follow up with accounts to assess adoption and address issues.
  • Provide refresher training and ongoing support and transition accounts to routine operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and clinical staff as a trusted clinical resource.
  • Serve as liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Communicate status, risks, and needs to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in pre-implementation discussions and product launches.
  • Assist with development of training materials and guides.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
