Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer) to support the FAA ESA under the NISC IV contract. The role provides on-site construction monitoring, coordination with project engineers, and QA to ensure compliance with plans and regulatory requirements across the eastern US and Caribbean.

Candidates must travel 100% (including weekends) for assignments lasting weeks to months, with travel expenses reimbursed per guidelines. A PE license is preferred, and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) with relevant construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans, specs, materials, and codes.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, engineers, and government stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction document review tools such as Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field contact coordinating with contractors, project engineers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, report status, risks, and deviations from plans.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to support engineering teams.
• Assist with inspections, commissioning, and closeout activities and manage punch lists.
