Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a highly-skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run our high-volume, quick service restaurants at travel centers. You will support the Restaurant General Manager and take responsibility for everyday operations to keep service fast and friendly.

The role requires strong team leadership, a commitment to food quality and safety, and the ability to train and coach Team Members. A high school diploma and at least one year of management in food service are expected;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum one year of food service management experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members.
• Direct and assign work to Team Members.
• Create a positive work environment for team members.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Ensure high level of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and a strong food safety environment.
