Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services seeks an Assistant General Manager at the Great Lakes Service Plaza. You will support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, operations excellence, and adherence to brand standards, with opportunities to learn management skills and develop judgment and discretion in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, and communicate business objectives clearly.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign work, coach shifts, and develop supervisors.
• Fill in for the general manager as needed and maintain daily operations.
• Motivate staff and maintain high morale; address issues promptly.
• Ensure brand standards, policies, and cash management procedures are followed.
