Applegreen US Welcome Centers is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee daily operations across its travel plazas. The role focuses on leading a team, delivering excellent customer service, managing staff performance, and upholding brand standards in a fast-paced retail and food-service environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management staff and develop shift supervisors.
• Step in for the General Manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during busy or challenging times.
• Ensure brand standards and company policies are followed.
• Maintain cash management accuracy and daily reporting.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to foster long-term relationships.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through spot counts and checks.
