Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for an interventional cardiology program in a teaching hospital setting. The candidate will join a 3-person team on the 1st floor Cath Lab with 2 beds and Trauma Level III designation.

The role requires 2+ years cath lab experience, BLS/ACLS, RT or CVIS certification (or RCIS eligibility in WA), an associate degree, and AHA certifications. Expect 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) with on-call shifts and travel eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cath lab experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• RT or CVIS certification required, or RCIS eligible for CVIS license in WA.
• Associate's degree minimum.
• Must be able to scrub and run the table.
• AHA certifications required.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.
• Candidate must live 60+ miles from facility for travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 1st floor Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 beds, Trauma Level III.
• Interventional Cardiology/Radiology cases (CV/PV).
• Geriatric and adult patient population.
• 3-person team structure.
• Uses Philips/McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo/Maquet equipment.
• Paragon EHR and McKesson-Change Healthcare for monitoring.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus standby.
• Call requirement of 7 shifts per 2-week period.
• On-call weekends, some variation.
• Perform cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Team environment with outgoing, adaptable, team-player personalities.
• Green scrubs provided.
• Cannot have worked perm staff at LifePoint facility in last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time.
