American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and current ARRT(R), BLS, and ACLS certifications. The role covers cardiac, peripheral vascular, EP, and IR procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

• Current ARRT(R), BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• EP and IR experience preferred; RCIS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Progressive program performing cardiac, peripheral vascular, EP, and IR procedures.
• Diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab, EP Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Special Procedures.
• Average daily census of 6 patients; day shift 6:45 AM–3:15 PM with on-call.
• Participation in on-call up to 3 times per week with 30-minute response time.
• Operate with Epic EMR and Cupid documentation; assist with vascular access and sterile setup.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and current ARRT(R), BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required, no first-time travelers
• EP and IR experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) certifications required
• CCI RCIS certification preferred
• State license required if applicable, compact or LA license in hand upon consideration
• Experience with embolizations, coiling, ablations, and implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
• Proficiency with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser atherectomy, and thrombectomy devices
• Strong STEMI experience with FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes
• Ability to perform peripheral vascular and EP procedures independently
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required

Responsibilities

• Progressive program performing cardiac, peripheral vascular, EP, and IR procedures
• Diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab, EP Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Special Procedures
• Average daily census of 6 patients
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM), with potential for 8-10 hour shifts depending on department staffing
• Arrival time may be earlier than scheduled shift start depending on first case time
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Call required up to 3 times per week, including every other weekend, with a 30-minute response requirement
• Weekday call: 3 days/week when not on weekend call, 2 days/week when assigned weekend call
• Uses Epic EMR with Cupid documentation
• Equipment includes Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, AngioJet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, Diamondback, Medrad, ACIST, and Siemens/Canon imaging systems
• Responsibilities include vascular access, port/line management, procedural setup, EKG lead placement, sterile field maintenance, and vascular closure
• High-performing Code STEMI team with best-in-system Door-to-Balloon times
• Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• May be assigned to an Emergency Team requiring extended facility presence during emergency events
• Orientation held 5 days a week
• RTO must be disclosed on profile and discussed during interview to avoid offer complications
• Returning Ochsner staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation before returning as travelers
• Does not accept local candidates; must live over 65 miles from the facility
• Strong team player with a patient-first mindset and willingness to mentor colleagues
