American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist at an academic medical center in the United States. Ideal candidate has 2+ years of Cath Lab/EP tech experience and is proficient in scrubbing, circulating, EKG lead placement, and complex procedures such as PCI and TAVR.

This role requires BLS, ARRT or RCIS certification, ACLS preferred, and Epic EMR experience. Working 3x12 hour shifts with on-call duties, travel benefits, and housing allowances are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.

• Epic charting system experience required.
• Scrubbing and circulating duties are essential.
• Experience with PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and pacemaker procedures preferred.
• Teaching hospital, trauma level experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Cardiac Cath Lab duties in an academic medical center.
• Manage daily caseload (4–16 cases per tech).
• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• On-call 7–8 shifts per month, including a weekend.
• Epic EMR usage and patient monitoring.

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an academic medical center, requiring BLS and either ARRT or RCIS certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab/EP Tech
• BLS certification required
• ARRT or RCIS certification required (license required if applicable)
• ACLS, CCI RCES, or CCI RCIS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skilled in scrubbing and circulating duties
• Experience with procedures such as EKG lead placement, cardiac catheterization, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, pacemaker insertion, and electrophysiology studies preferred

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an academic, research-focused medical center
• Daily caseload varies from 4-16 cases per tech
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 7-8 call shifts per month, including 1 weekend
• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Epic EMR experience required
• Responsibilities include accurate patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, room circulating, and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing
• May assist with a wide range of procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, and pacemaker insertion
• May participate in cath lab procedures such as ASD closures, stent placement, ECMO, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, temporary pacemaker, TAVR, and Watchman
• Additional skills may include IV starts/phlebotomy and coil embolization/rotablader
• Must be available to work 4 out of 8 major holidays, or 2 of 4 holidays if the contract ends prior to Christmas, with no exceptions
• Scrubs are provided
