American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of Cath Lab experience for an acute care cardiac catheterization lab in Lexington, KY. You will scrub and monitor during procedures, support interventional cardiology, EP, and IR teams, and work with Epic/Merge systems in a 4-suite lab.

Typical cases are 10-15 per day; schedule runs 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with on-call coverage. Requires BLS/ACLS, ARRT, and a current license if applicable; driver’s license is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred (not mandatory).
• License required if applicable; copy of driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Acute care cardiac catheterization lab with 4 procedure suites/labs.
• Average of 10-15 cases per day.
• Patient population includes interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular cases.
• EP and IR are separate departments, though staff may float between them.
• Uses Epic and Merge systems; cases scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call coverage 24/7.
• Shift options of 4x10s or 5x8s with call requirements.
• Primary duties include scrubbing and monitoring during procedures; scrubs provided.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Must have prior competence working in the Cath Lab setting
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Responsibilities

• Acute care cardiac catheterization lab with 4 procedure suites/labs
• Average of 10-15 cases per day
• Patient population includes interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular cases
• EP and IR are separate departments, though staff may float between them
• Uses Epic and Merge systems
• Cases typically scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call coverage 24/7
• Shift options of 4x10s or 5x8s with call requirements
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required with a 30-minute call response time
• May float to other procedural areas occasionally based on census
• Primary duties include scrubbing and monitoring during procedures
• Scrubs are provided
• 3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Only one shift per day has a charge presence
• Schedule is created by the unit supervisor
