Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking a Branch Operations Assistant to manage customer inquiries, clerical tasks, and yard duties including Loader operation. You will record data on incoming vehicles and assist with vehicle upkeep throughout the sale process.

This is a 100% travel-based position; your home branch will be the closest IAA location to your residence and will serve as base when not on travel. Two-week travel increments guide assignments, with work at the home branch when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Leadership, time management, and independent work abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and towers.
• Willing to learn forklift operation within 90 days.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
• Experience in equipment rental or construction preferred.
• Basic automotive repair skills preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Previous forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support via mail, phone, and in person.
• Process orders and entry into the computer system.
• Reference pricing and delivery information.
• Respond to questions, complaints, and requests.
• Perform clerical duties and word processing.
• Handle auction paperwork and approvals.
• Follow well-established procedures under supervisor guidance.
• Open to learning automobile titling.
• Assist with other office functions as needed.
• Vehicle check-in and data recording for facility assignments.
• Detail vehicles to improve auction appearance.
• Safely operate vehicles to move and store them at the branch.
• Assist visitors and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Loader operation experience.
• Report policy violations to supervisor immediately.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Yard Attendants, Loaders, CSRs.
