Job summary

Boyd Group Services is seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of health, retirement, FSA and HSA plans in our Springfield, IL office. You will serve as a benefits SME, training the HR Service Center, improving processes, and ensuring accurate deductions and 401(k) contributions while supporting open enrollment and communications.

Collaborate with the HRIS team to align enrollment data with plan design, generate reports, and contribute to benefits initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Benefits Administration experience including health, retirement, FSA/HSA, life and disability benefits.
• 2+ years of HRIS/benefits enrollment system experience, Workday preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, basic formulas).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of Boyd-sponsored health, retirement, FSA/HSA, life and disability plans.
• Serve as benefits SME, providing training and support to HR Service Center and HR community.
• Analyze current benefit processes; drive improvements and reporting of deductions and 401(k) contributions.
• Lead open enrollment planning, carrier changes, communications, testing and data validation.
• Coordinate with HRIS to ensure accurate enrollment data and plan design; produce enrollment reports.
• Develop and deliver benefits communications and promotional campaigns.
• Document and update benefits procedures and employee-facing communications.
• Participate in benefits-related initiatives and special projects as needed.
