Job summary

CAMS is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support daily administration of health, retirement, leave-related, and other benefit programs. You will serve as the primary contact for inquiries, coordinate enrollments, and maintain accurate records across HRIS and vendor systems.

With 3+ years in benefits or HR, you will help with audits, compliance, and communications, while collaborating with brokers, payroll, and internal stakeholders. This role requires periodic travel and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of benefits administration or HR experience.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and FMLA.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employee benefit inquiries and guidance on eligibility and enrollment.
• Administer the Company's health and welfare, retirement, leave-related, and voluntary programs.
• Process enrollments, life events, changes, COBRA administration, and other benefit transactions.
• Maintain benefit records in HRIS and vendor systems and conduct audits for data integrity.
• Partner with providers, payroll, and stakeholders to resolve issues; support open enrollment.
• Generate reports and analyses to support compliance and management decisions.
• Travel periodically for benefit-related meetings and events.
