Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting delivers turnkey BAS & EPMS solutions for mission-critical data centers. The Building Automation Field Technician III will assist in installation, work with other installers, and coordinate with programmers to inform clients on progress.

Travel up to 75% to project locations; must be located near a major US airport. Requires BS in engineering or related field or 2 years hands-on installation experience plus 3 years additional experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems and materials.
• Ability to interpret AE construction drawings and BAS shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install BAS/HVAC controls systems and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Assist startup, commissioning and testing of BAS systems.
• Prepare project reports and track progress.
