Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Fort Worth, TX is hiring Trauma Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives and apply surgical skills in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

This role features a No-Call lifestyle with no nights or weekends, plus part-time or full-time options, allowing you to focus on patient healing while maintaining family time. Requirements include MD or DO, unrestricted state license, and DEA license; prior wound-care experience is not required as comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
