Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Austin, TX is actively seeking Trauma Surgeons to join as wound care physicians in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call Monday–Friday schedule with part-time or full-time options, allowing you to maintain surgical skills while focusing on wound management.

You’ll lead wound care initiatives, perform debridement and bedside procedures, and follow patients through healing with clinical autonomy.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care procedures, debridement and bedside care as part of daily practice.
• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex wounds.
• Follow patients through healing and maintain clinical autonomy.
