Compensation is performance-based with per-patient/per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses; typical earnings range $200,000–$300,000 for full-time contractors. MD or DO license required, unrestricted license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open to Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons with wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols in post-acute settings.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities with follow-up through healing.
