Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Fort Worth, TX is hiring wound care physicians on a full-time or part-time basis to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday lifestyle with opportunities for hands-on procedures and full clinical autonomy.

Physicians from all specialties are welcome. The role emphasizes direct patient outcomes with ongoing patient follow-up and potential part-time flexibility, plus comprehensive training in wound care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license: active or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background: no prior wound care or procedural experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
