Skilled Wound Care in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Plastic Surgeon to work as a wound care physician, offering no-call weekday schedules, and options for full-time or part-time employment. You will lead wound care initiatives in SNFs across the area, with training provided and a focus on autonomous patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have an MD or DO, an unrestricted license (or eligibility), and DEA license (or eligibility).

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds; no previous wound care experience is required, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
