Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Los Angeles, CA is hiring Trauma Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area, offering a no-call, Monday-Friday style role with flexibility for part-time or full-time arrangements.

You bring surgical debridement skills and wound expertise to treat complex wounds, collaborate with SNFs, and maintain bedside procedures. Training is provided, with a patient-centered, autonomous practice environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in California (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Open background; no prior wound care experience required; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside wound care procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care teams.
