Job summary

Biocomposites, an international medical devices company, seeks an Area Sales Manager – Trauma for the US market. You will be the principal expert in Trauma verticals, driving distributor partnerships, hospital accounts, and Territory strategies to meet quotas.

Based in the Pittsburgh region, you will collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and Product Specialists to navigate VACs, sign distributor contracts, and deliver product demonstrations and CE seminars to healthcare professionals while

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical / medical device / biotechnology sales and marketing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Trauma distribution recruitment experience.
• A college degree is required. A degree in marketing, business administration, or healthcare field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate a strategic Trauma business plan for the assigned territory focusing on penetration into Level I/ II trauma facilities.
• Act as the key contact for Product Specialists, Regional Sales Directors for Trauma in the assigned territory.
• Hire, train, and support independent Trauma distributors for the sale and promotion of Stimulan.
• Develop and implement account plans for key accounts and distributor partners to generate strategic relationships that will result in sales within the assigned territory.
• Deliver presentations and training to educate our Product Specialists, Regional Sales Directors, Distributor Representatives, and associated hospital personnel.
• Maintain compliance consistent with the FDA and AdvaMed.
