Job summary

Biocomposites is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Trauma vertical in the US, focusing on a territory that includes AR, LA, and MS. The role involves recruiting trauma distributors, signing hospital accounts, and executing a Territory plan to meet trauma quotas.

You will collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and Product Specialists to deliver training, conduct product demonstrations, and navigate hospital committees while maintaining compliance and up-to-date market knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical / medical device / biotechnology sales and marketing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Trauma distribution recruitment experience.
• A college degree is required. A degree in marketing, business administration, or healthcare field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate a strategic Trauma business plan for the assigned territory.
• Act as the key contact for Product Specialists, Regional Sales Directors for Trauma in the territory.
• Hire, train, and support independent Trauma distributors for the sale and promotion of Stimulan.
• Develop and implement account plans for key accounts and distributor partners to generate strategic relationships that will result in sales within the territory.
• Act as the point person for Trauma orientation and onboarding with Biocomposites employees in the territory.
• Deliver presentations and training to educate Product Specialists, Regional Sales Directors, Distributor Representatives, and hospital personnel for Trauma.
