Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Trauma Registry Analyst Supervisor to lead data collection, coding, and reporting for trauma records, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. You will oversee IRR audits, safeguard patient information, and coordinate with internal teams and external registries.

The role requires a health information management degree, multiple trauma registry certifications, and 3+ years of trauma data experience, with strong leadership and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• Completed an 8-hour Trauma Registry course.
• Current AIS course per AAAM standards.
• Current ICD-10 course or refresher within 5 years.
• CSTR certification within 1 year.
• CAISS certification within 18 months.
• RHIT preferred; experience in trauma data coding/abstraction.

Responsibilities

• Direct trauma registry data collection, abstraction and coding.
• Perform IRR audits and ensure registry data accuracy.
• Maintain registry database with backups and data dictionary updates.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA policies.
• Ensure timely submissions to registries per standards.
• Lead workflow improvements and IT enhancements for the registry.
• Supervise Trauma Registry staff and participate in reviews.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and external data sources for registry activities.
• Prepare materials for designation visits and state/national projects.
