Job summary

Regional One Health seeks a Trauma Registry Analyst Supervisor to lead data collection, coding and reporting for trauma cases that meet inclusion criteria. You will supervise registry staff, ensure ICD-10 and AIS accuracy, and coordinate data submissions to end users and registries in a multi-state setting.

Role requires an undergraduate HIM degree, Trauma Registry training, ICD-10 and AIS knowledge, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• Completion of an approved 8 hour Trauma Registry course is required.
• Current ICD-10 course or refresher within 5 years.
• CSTR and CAISS certifications within specified timeframes.
• RHIT preferred; other HIM credentials may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee trauma registry data collection, abstraction, coding and reporting.
• Ensure ICD-10 and AIS coding accuracy and timely submissions to registries.
• Maintain data integrity, backups, and data dictionary updates.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and external sources for data quality and PRQ prep.
• Lead workflow optimization and oversee staff with performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and iRESPECT standards.
