Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in DI Report Writer and trauma data base coding (ICD-CM/PCS, AIS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze trauma registry data for validity and compliance with ACS/ABA and state requirements.
• Coordinate and perform data analysis for Trauma Service Performance Improvement, Research/Grants, Injury Prevention, and administrative activities.
• Interpret data, anticipate needs for additional data, and prepare high quality presentation graphs/reports.
• Coordinate all trauma database related responsibilities during a trauma center designation/verification visit.
• Research Trauma Analyst: Maintain and coordinate a streamlined process for trauma/burn data report requests and respond to data requests for research, internal, external, or compliance audits.
• Collaborate with medical staff, HIM, EMS and external data sources to implement registry activities.
