Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Trauma Registry Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in Georgia. You will supervise Registry staff, ensure accurate data abstraction, and coordinate submissions to state and national registries in support of the trauma program.

The role requires experience with TQIP data standards and medical terminology, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and registry software. Strong attention to detail and compliance with ACS standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with TQIP data standards and common office tools.
• Knowledge of medical record-keeping procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with trauma registry software and data submission processes.
• Strong organizational and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Trauma Registry operations and staff scheduling.
• Coordinate data retrieval, validation, and submission to relevant registries.
• Onboard and educate Trauma Registrars; manage continuing education.
• Engage in statewide trauma registry subcommittees.
• Support data requests for multidisciplinary trauma conferences; ensure compliance with ACS and state requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to policies.
