Job summary
La Frontera Center Inc. is seeking a Trauma Therapist for EMPACT to deliver direct psychotherapy to victims of crime, in both individual and group settings, with on-call crisis coverage across Maricopa and surrounding counties.
The role includes collaboration with hotline staff, trauma advocates and other therapists, while ensuring documentation quality and adherence to care standards. A Master’s in counseling/social work and AZ licensure are required plus a valid AZ driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.
- AZBBHE licensure or higher or to be obtained within six months.
- Clear and effective communication. Strong customer service skills.
- Must possess valid AZ Driver's license with no major infractions.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct psychotherapy for victims of crime in individual and group settings.
- Coordinates communication with other departments for continuity of care and referrals.
- Maintains client records in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Provides on-call crisis assessment, intervention services and in-home support where needed.
