Job summary
La Frontera Arizona is seeking a Trauma Therapist for EMPACT in Glendale, AZ. This is a part-time, on-call role delivering individual and group psychotherapy, crisis stabilization, and related supportive services to victims of crime.
Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Counseling or Social Work and AZBBHE licensure or are eligible within six months; Spanish bilingual skills are preferred. A range of benefits is offered through the EMPACT-SPC/La Frontera Arizona family.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field is required.
- AZ licensure or to be obtained within six months.
- Clear and effective communication and strong customer service skills.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychotherapy in individual and group settings, with crisis stabilization.
- Coordinate with other departments for continuity of care and referrals.
- Maintain client records per policies; document and data collection.
- Provide on-call crisis assessment and mobile services as needed.
