EMPACT-SPC in Glendale, AZ seeks a Trauma Therapist (part-time) to provide direct psychotherapy to individuals and groups, including crisis stabilization, with on-call coverage and community involvement. The role emphasizes collaboration with hotline staff, trauma advocates, and other agencies to ensure quality care.

The position requires a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work and AZBBHE licensure (or will obtain within six months), with a preference for bilingual (Spanish) candidates

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field is required.
• Associate level AZBBHE licensure or higher, required or to be obtained within six months.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Must possess valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in past 39 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychotherapy in individual and group settings, including crisis stabilization.
• Coordinate communication with other departments and community agencies for continuity of care.
• Maintain client records per agency policies, including intake, treatment planning, and endangerment triaging.
• Deliver on-call crises services and mobile assessments across Maricopa and surrounding counties.
• Provide instruction and training for interns and staff as assigned.
