La Frontera Center Inc. (EMPACT-Suicide Prevention Center) in Maricopa, AZ is seeking a full-time Therapist to provide direct clinical services including individual, family, and group therapy for diverse clients.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, collaboration with the care team, and thorough documentation in accordance with agency policy. The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field, eligibility for licensure preferred, and bi-lingual (Spanish) abilities are an asset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field.
• Licensure preferred but not required: eligible for licensure.
• Experience with GMHSA, SMI and Children services preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practice therapeutic approaches.
• Must be organized, trauma-informed, and able to individualize treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical service: individual, family, and group therapy.
• Perform clinical liaison duties for assigned clients and ensure quality service delivery.
• Maintain client records per agency policies: intake, risk assessments, diagnosis, service planning, progress notes, discharge planning.
• Prepare discharge documentation and inter-agency reports; attend meetings and training as requested.
• Work a forty-hour week with flexible hours to accommodate family schedules.
