Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Trauma Recovery unit. You will apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care during day shifts, ensuring adherence to standards, policies and procedures.

You will perform assessments, collect information from patients and labs, obtain and verify consents, document findings, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Assess and plan patient care using nursing process.
• Document care and patient responses in charting systems.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per medical regimen and standards.
• Assess patient needs and plan care with physician input.
• Collect information from patient, family, labs, and reports.
• Ensure consents and identification procedures are in place.
• Document nursing assessments and updates.
• Assist CPR/BLS during emergencies.
• Coordinate referrals and patient education.
