Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Trauma Recovery unit in Memphis. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients and coordinate with physicians and families.

Responsibilities include administering medications, ordering and interpreting tests, documenting patient information, and supporting discharge planning. Requires Tennessee RN licensure and BCLS on hire; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse: State Licensure to work in TN (or compact state).
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to medical regimen and standards, including ambulatory care.
• Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnosis and health frameworks.
• Collect key information from patient, family, labs and reports.
• Ensure valid consents and proper patient identification procedures are followed.
• Determine nursing diagnoses and care priorities, including patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Document assessments and clinical judgments in patient records.
• Communicate and collaborate with family and hospital staff to meet patient needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations as ordered by physicians.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

RN Licensure (TN or compact)
