Washington Hospital Healthcare System is seeking a Trauma PI Coordinator to collaborate with the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to drive performance improvement through data collection, analysis, and benchmarking.

The role includes implementing the PIPS Plan, monitoring adherence to clinical practices, and serving as a clinical resource while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Public Health (Master of Science, preferred).
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical nursing in emergency or critical care; 1–2 years in trauma PI/coordinator role.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in database management, statistical reports, and the Microsoft Office/365 software suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to assess and improve trauma program PI activities.
• Collect, analyze, and benchmark trauma data outcomes.
• Implement and monitor the Trauma Program Improvement Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Plan and adherence to clinical practice guidelines.
• Act as a clinical resource and assist in staff development.
