Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Clinical Program Coordinator in Good Samaritan Hospital to assess, plan, implement and coordinate trauma care from diagnosis through follow-up, guiding patients through the collaborative process with physicians and nurses and providing education during the hospital stay.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, a current RN license, BLS‑HCP certification (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate), and at least three years of RN experience; trauma performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current RN license.
• BLS-HCP certification required upon hire or within 60 days.
• Three years of RN experience.
• Trauma performance improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the trauma program and ensure care follows evidence-based guidelines.
• Educate patients and families during the hospital stay and serve as a resource after discharge.
• Participate in patient care rounds and data collection for performance improvement.
• Develop and implement evidence-based policies for the program.
• Maintain data and QA activities; act as subject matter expert for the program.
• May float to other departments and be on-call as needed.
