Qualifications

• Three years RN experience
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
• BLS-HCP certification at hire or within 60 days of hire with prior approval (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate)
• Master's degree in Nursing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinator for assigned program; discusses program with physicians and nurses and ensures care meets evidence-based guidelines
• Provides education to patients and family members during hospital stay and serves as resource after discharge
• Participates in patient care rounds
• Develops and implements evidence-based policies and standards for the program
• Maintains and analyzes data; serves as subject matter expert; creates a Quality Assurance program
• May float to other departments based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
