Job summary

Stryker in Scranton is seeking a Trauma Sales Representative to sell trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals in a high‑intensity environment. You will become the resident trauma expert, organizing materials, maintaining inventory, and providing product training during operating room consultations.

The role emphasizes ethics, compliance, and on‑call availability. This position is 100% commission and eligible for bonuses and benefits, including health coverage; on-call nights,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role.
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals would be beneficial.
• Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
• Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required.
• Must adhere to compliance and AdvaMed by maintaining privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting assets, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Sell Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Be the resident trauma expert for a sophisticated audience.
• Organize materials and quickly sort possible solutions during operating/emergency room consultations.
• Maintain inventory and assist customers as needed.
• Provide product knowledge and training on tools used to save lives.
