Job summary

Community Partners in Action (CPA) seeks a Reintegration Mentor for the REGIONS-Site Secure Residential Treatment Program for male youth in Hamden, CT. The schedule includes Tue 11am-7pm and Wed-Sat 10am-6pm. Salary is $28.24 per hour ($58,739 annually).

Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly encouraged to apply. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, lived experience, and the ability to transport youth to appointments, with a focus on trauma-informed,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field; lived experience.
• Experience with youth and residential treatment; crisis intervention.
• Knowledge of juvenile justice system; gender-specific, trauma-informed care.
• Must have valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinician to engage youth, family and community resources.
• Facilitate youth and family team meetings.
• Empower family to develop a support system.
• Reinforce youth’s individualized treatment plan.
• Assist transition to community after-care services.
• Maintain professional boundaries and model pro-social behavior.
