Job summary

The Oaks Academy, operated by Rite of Passage in Brownwood, Texas, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Administrative Office and its staff. The role focuses on delivering reliable administrative support and ensuring procedures meet our professional standards.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour plus depending on education and relevant experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401k match after one year, PTO, and more. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma in a relevant field.
• At least three years of experience working in an office environment.
• Experience and success in office management.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• The Administrative Assistant works as a staff member of the Administrative Office team and assists the designated supervisor and other site employees.
• Primarily responsible for providing administrative assistance as required by management and/or program staff and ensuring all administrative office procedures comply with ROP-established professional standards.
• The Administrative Assistant reports to the designated department supervisor.
