Job summary

YWCA Greater Cincinnati is seeking a Victims of Crime Service Navigator to oversee a collaborative effort with the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office. The role focuses on trauma-informed, client-centered support for crime victims as they navigate the criminal justice process, accessing community resources, and coordinating with law enforcement and service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
• Minimum of two years direct services, advocacy, or systems navigation for survivors of gender-based violence.
• Experience collaborating with criminal justice, victim services, healthcare, or social services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed victim navigation services to individuals affected by crime, including preparation for civil and criminal court hearings and education regarding victims’ rights.
• Coordinate safety planning and practical assistance, and serve as liaison among victims, court, law enforcement, and community partners.
• Provide comprehensive case management and connect clients to public and community supports for safety, recovery, and stability.
• Engage in victim outreach and build collaborative relationships to improve access to housing, healthcare, and other resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and prepare monthly program reports for leadership.
