Job summary

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada seeks a full-time Advocate/Navigator for the Resiliency & Justice Center. The role supports victim-centered service, conducts intake and assessments, and navigates social services and resources for victims and families.

The position involves coordinating with mental health providers, services, and community partners while maintaining compassionate, crisis-aware communication.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting intake and assessments.
• Ability to identify needs and coordinate resources.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Intake and Assessment: greet visitors, take calls, assess needs, refer to services.
• Navigate Resources: help victims access legal and social services and advocate for resources.
• Provide Assistance with Forms: assist with forms, explain information requested, coordinate with providers.
• Community Outreach: attend events and build relationships with partners and the public.
• Customer Service: work well in a team, communicate effectively with people in crisis.
