Job summary

The Family Justice Center Intervention Coordinator works directly with the Assistant Director of Community & Court Services and Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati to implement legal assistance for victims work in the Greater Cincinnati area.

The role coordinates intake, referrals, and crisis intervention, serving as a liaison among shelters, courts, hotlines, and partner agencies. It also includes data reporting and outreach planning to support victims of violence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advocacy or human services or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual abilities preferred to assist diverse clients.
• Experience in victim advocacy or related social services is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews and facilitate referrals for civil legal services for victims.
• Serve as liaison between shelters, courts, hotlines, and Legal Aid to ensure timely intake.
• Assist clients with safety planning and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain client files, data, and prepare progress reports for grant requirements.
• Plan and implement outreach events with community leaders to reach target populations.
• Respond to concerns from immigrant and LEP clients about law enforcement and agencies.
