Job summary

Safe Harbor is seeking a licensed clinical therapist to provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking in Virginia. The Therapist will manage a 16–18 client caseload, perform risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention, and collaborate with the Clinical Team for coordinated, survivor-centered care.

Responsibilities include intake, treatment planning, documentation, on-call coverage for SDV

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related clinical field.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia as appropriate.
• Experience with trauma-informed approaches preferred.
• Experience with survivors of domestic/sexual violence or human trafficking preferred.
• Experience with EHR and clinical documentation preferred (SimplePractice a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality individual therapeutic services to survivors.
• Lead 1–2 therapeutic or support groups as assigned.
• Conduct intake, assessment, and treatment planning.
• Perform risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clients and ensure progress.
• Maintain active caseload of 16–18 clients.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and data entry.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and other clinicians for continuity of care.
