Job summary

Safe Harbor in Virginia is seeking a Bilingual Therapist to provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking at program sites including the Sacred Heart Center.

The role requires English and Spanish fluency, active caseload management (16–18 clients), crisis intervention, risk assessment, treatment planning, and clinically supervised collaboration with the Clinical Director and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience providing therapeutic services to trauma survivors.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload and provide individual and group therapy.
• Conduct intake, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluation.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment when needed.
• Deliver services in English and Spanish, including community partner sites.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and HIPAA-compliant records.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and other clinicians for survivor-centered care.
