Center for Family Services seeks a Trauma Counselor to provide trauma-informed counseling to individuals and families affected by domestic and sexual violence. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, safety planning, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

This full-time role may involve office, safe house, or telehealth services, with some evening/weekend hours. A Master’s in a relevant field and NJ licensure or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LMFT) in NJ.
• Ability to pass background checks and trainings.

Responsabilités

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments and screenings.
• Provide individual counseling to survivors (13+ to adult).
• Co-facilitate psychoeducational and support groups.
• Develop service and safety plans with clients.
• Maintain documentation per policies and confidentiality laws.
• Collaborate with advocates and case managers for services.
