Job summary

YWCA Richmond seeks a Clinician to deliver trauma-informed behavioral health services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual or group psychotherapy within agency standards.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safety planning, and coordination with internal teams. A Masters degree and licensure eligibility are required, with bilingual capacity preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree (required) in social work, psychology, or related counseling field.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure, required.
• Experience in a trauma-informed care model preferred.
• Bilingual capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial and clinical assessments to identify problems and needs.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and/or group counseling using trauma-informed approaches.
• Assess and respond to clinical risk, including suicidality and safety concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals as needed.
• Use evidence-informed interventions within scope of practice.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Supervise clinical intern/practicum students.
