KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, is seeking a licensed Special Education teacher to deliver trauma-informed, data-driven instruction in a small classroom. You will implement Virginia SOL-aligned lessons, support communication, social development, and emotional regulation, and collaborate with staff to create a safe, dignified learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and SPED licensure in Virginia.
• Endorsements in emotional disabilities or SPED required or pending.
• Ability to implement SOL-aligned instruction with IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOL-aligned instruction and differentiate for diverse needs.
• Establish a safe, dignified classroom and manage behavior.
• Collect data, monitor progress, and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Serve as case manager for assigned students and attend IEP meetings.
• Integrate KEYS for a Big Life Curriculum and Social Thinking daily.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and related services.
