KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, seeks a licensed Special Education teacher to lead a structured, trauma‑informed classroom in Virginia. You will design instruction aligned to SOLs and IEP goals, differentiate for diverse needs, and collaborate with families and related staff to support student success.

You will work under the School Director to foster Safety, Dignity, and Opportunity, delivering data‑driven instruction and implementing evidence‑based supports for at‑risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold an active Virginia teaching license in Special Education.
• Endorsement in Emotional Disabilities or SPED General Curriculum required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a structured, trauma‑informed classroom aligned to SOLs and individual IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied academic and behavioral needs.
• Implement evidence‑based teaching strategies and social‑emotional supports.
• Embed communication development and social thinking into daily lessons.
• Manage Present Levels of Performance, IEP goals, and data‑driven progress.
• Collaborate with families, LEA representatives, and related services to support student success.
