Job summary

Health Connect America seeks a licensed Special Education teacher for KEYS Academy in Virginia. You will design and deliver SOL-aligned instruction in structured, trauma-informed classrooms, focusing on students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.

Under the School Director, you will implement IEP goals, differentiate instruction, collect progress data, and collaborate with families and staff to promote safety, dignity, and opportunity for at‑risk students.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia teaching license in Special Education required (license eligible accepted).
• Endorsement in Emotional Disabilities (ED) required or to be pursued.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOL-aligned instruction and individualized IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction for varied academic, behavioral, and sensory needs.
• Use data to guide instructional decisions and provide progress feedback.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers to support student success.
