KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, seeks a licensed Special Education teacher in Virginia to deliver structured, trauma-informed instruction aligned with SOLs and IEP goals. You will create individualized plans, leverage KEYS curriculum, and collaborate with School Director to ensure Safety, Dignity, and Opportunity for at-risk students.

Ideal candidates will have a Virginia SPED license, ED/SPED endorsement or willingness to obtain, and strong skills in data-driven instruction,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Virginia SPED license required.
• Endorsement in Emotional Disabilities (ED) or SPED required; willingness to pursue SPED endorsement if needed.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, SOL alignment, data collection, and progress reporting.
• Proficient with educational technology and online learning platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Develop lesson plans aligned to SOLs and IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse needs and sensory support.
• Use evidence-based strategies and positive behavioral supports.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress data for reports.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and LEA to support student success.
